FFA News:
FFA will be getting even more work done to it soon, sorry for how long it is taking but viper is very busy. Gameplay will be improved with things like the gun damage to make them more balanced.  Also the map will be restarting on the 1.6 update and with that will be a few world changes. SMP News:

CHIKN_POX:
I have been a bit busy this week due to having to help at another dog trial and being involved in a car accident.
Next week I will be back as normal and I will be able to help out a lot more with SMP.
Thank you to my staff who have kept SMP under control while I was away.

SMP Staff:
Staff training will commence next week so all staff will be made aware of their roles and will have the training to make sure they can do them comfortably. We will make sure all staff learn how to do rollbacks correctly and then the permission for rollback will most likely be moved down to moderator. If any staff member feels that they need special training or would like to learn anything that that is missed in the staff training please let me know and I will sort it out. I encourage all staff to continue to work together as a team and to talk about SMP things as a group. Staff can come to me if they have a question or need advice but I like it when Staff discuss things as a group and work together as a team.

Changes:
There will be a few changes made to SMP soon. I have a few plugins that I would like to test and gauge players and staffs thoughts on, the rules will be reviewed and a few other things. I wil let you all know more about these changes and plugins very soon. If You have any ideas or thoughts about what should be added or removed please let me know asap. There will be a couple of SMP polls soon to help find out what players and staff like about SMP and to find out what people want added and changed.

I will make sure everything is covered and all rules are easy to understand. I want to have as little rules as possible but everything needs to be in there. SMP News:

Due to CHIKN_POX being away for the weekend SMP News will be done By a_whispering_i and FrostySkies.

Problem with chest inventories:
Recently there has been a few issues with chests losing their inventory. We are currently trying to work out the cause and fix for this. For those who have lost their stuff, it can't be rolled back but no need to worry Nathan will be able to hand out resources to start up again but be aware you may not get everything back.
We will try to find a fix as soon as possible. There’s no need for alarm you stuff should be safe. It is a rare glitch, so if you do find yourself with this problem please contact staff. They will do their best to help.

SparkTrail:
The plugin has been updated and installed again on SMP all spark trails should now be working again.
If you have any problems please report them to CHIKN_POX either by the forums or in game using /modreq (message).

Healthbar:
I have figured out why the mob Health Bars would show up as hearts for player damage and bars for environment damage. It was due to the new features of MCMMO interfering with our Health Bars plugin.
It is fixed now and mobs health will be shown as bars not hearts. If you prefer hearts or the small bars similar to players please suggest it to me and I will think about changing it.
I am still waiting for a fix for staff not showing their Health Bars due to the coloured names.

Mcmmo /pvp top:
There was a bug in MCMMO when you typed /pvp top you would get kicked due to a java error. This was because MCMMO started using the new scoreboard feature to display its stats and when the plugin added colours to player names they would be longer than 16 characters (the mc maximum is 16). The problem has been reported to MCMMO developers and they will be fixing it in their next update.
Until then I have disabled the scoreboard for mcmmo.

CMP is working on a world to put all maps for mini games there called the "arcade" winners of this current contest "mapping contest" will have their builds placed there.

Botw will soon be announced later in the week. Those of you who haven't been payed in past BOTW please /mail send lenadinnertime in-game or forum pm me.

chaospwner81 is now VIP for the month of May for having 72 votes! wow! It will soon be implemented for votes per month of the top voter, not just over all time.

CMP is now updated to 1.5.2. Any bugs, use the /report command to let us know.

Not much has happened in FFA this week its been fairly quiet apart from the server updating to 1.5.2. Viper is also back from break.

SMP News:

SMP and its update to 1.5.2:
SMP has been updated to 1.5.2 and a few plugins are in need of some work. Some plugins need to be either updated by the developer or a few tweaks need to be made.
Please be patient and I will make sure that all plugins and features of SMP are working again asap.

Scoreboard stats:
The update to the new scoreboard stats plugin derped the plugin on SMP. This is because I was using a SQL database that needs to be deleted and recreated for the plugin. I don't have access to the database and need assistance from an admin.
I tried changing the database to a flat file on the server but was unable to get the plugin to show the stats. I have spoken to the plugin developer and he is going to release a new update with a command to regenerate the database in game.
I will try to get this plugin working as soon as possible.

Healthbars:
For some unknown reason the latest update of the HealthBars plugin resulted in mobs health bars becoming hearts instead of bars. I prefer the bars and there are settings for the three different healthbars all of which show as hearts.
If a mob is damaged by the environment or another mob then the health bars show as the selected type but if a player hits them they show as hearts. I have set the bars to always show hearts and it is only a minor glitch.
I personally prefer the look of the bars over mobs and I have contacted the developer and informed him of the derp. We are also still waiting for a fix for the plugin to allow staff to have health bars.
Currently the plugin that changes staffs nametags to their rank colour derps the healthbars. The plugin developer is aware of this derp and I await a fix for it.

SparkTrail:
The plugin that allows players and staff to have trails needs to be updated before it will work again on SMP. I will constantly check for updates and after testing I will have it on SMP as soon as possible.
Please be patient as I try my best to have all plugins working as quickly as I can.

Command Guide:
I have typed up a command guide for SMP. It shows all current staffing commands for Trusted to Vet Moderator ranks. All SMP staff need to know these commands and can check back for help if needed.
Staff have all the commands listed under their rank and the ranks above them. Veteran moderators have all the commands of moderators and moderators have all the trusted commands.

Complaints about staff:
If any player or staff have a complaint about any staff member please do not make any comments about it publically. Please send me a pm on the forums or make a complaint in the complaint section of the forums.
All complaints are looked into by myself and other high staff. You have every right to make a legitimate complaint if you feel it is needed. Do not post rude comments or anything other than the truth.
It will also help if you can provide proof. We can also provide logs and look into it using some of our staffing tools to see what exactly happened and take appropriate action. All complaints are looked into and are handled professionally.

Soon to be added Referee Rank:
Lena and myself have started working on a referee rank for SMP. The plugin was made by Pinguin for Caznowl. It gives staff the ability to type /ref and move themselves into a special staffing rank.
In this rank there will be special perms for when they are staffing and they will not be able to play in this rank. The plugin is designed to allow them more permissions and commands while stopping the chance of abuse.
The implementation is a bit tricky and the three of us will be working on the setup and testing of the plugin for a while to make sure that it is working 100% as intended before its used by staff.
